A unique pilot project was recently completed at the Hatzi Hinam chain, where our system, including digital shelf displays-was implemented at the Yarkonim branch.
This pilot stood out due to its length and full deployment in a live retail environment, lasting six months. Throughout this period, an entire product category at the store entrance was equipped with our digital shelf screens, supported by our software managing real-time price updates, product image changes, and background video content.
The pilot was declared a major success. From the chain’s perspective, the system’s ease of use was evaluated—especially the processes of price updates, shelf reorganization, and syncing with screen content. The results were excellent: the staff appreciated the user-friendly interface and quickly adapted to the system, while the operations manager praised the system’s stability and fault-free performance.
The system is also resilient: in the event of a power outage or Wi-Fi disconnection, it restarts automatically and manages itself independently until internet connectivity is restored.
Customer feedback was overwhelmingly positive. Shoppers appreciated the fresh, modern look of the department, the ease of navigation, and the ability to locate products and prices without difficulty.
From an operational standpoint, the pilot offered a valuable opportunity to test the shelf screens over several months without interruption, under real-world conditions—customers with shopping carts, suppliers loading goods onto shelves, changing product placements, and more. The system remained fully functional and reliable throughout.
At present, the chain is preparing to expand the pilot and implement the system across additional departments.
