Store Planning

Store and commercial space planning is a critical part of establishing a retail business. Proper planning includes all the basic components that make up the business’s framework: entrance and exit locations, aisle widths, checkout counter placement, size and location of refrigeration and freezing departments, shelf width and depth, and placement of essential departments within the store. In the case of an “island” design in a mall, the placement of the checkout counter, entrance to the island, display arrangements, and more are essential for optimal operation.

Proper planning allows for an optimal customer path, increases sales, and enables cross-selling between different categories.
